Locally owned and operated, United Nursing Services is a dual licensed, Home Healthcare and Medicare certified nursing agency. Our Home Health Care Services:

•  Personal care – bathing, showering, grooming, dressing

•  Activity needs – turn/position/perform transfers, assistance with ambulation, range of motion exercises and transportation

•  Treatment needs – vital signs, ice/heat application, food/fluid monitoring

•  Elimination needs –  assistance with toileting, catheter/colostomy care

•  Household needs – meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping

•  Safety needs – medication reminders, monitoring changes in client’s mental/behavioral/physical status/safety

•  Skilled Nursing care – wound care, medication administration, IV therapy, tracheostomy care, teaching

•  Therapy – in home rehabilitation and maintenance

•  1, 2 & 3 hour visits, hourly and Live-In Caregivers (HHA/CNA)

Payment Options

We accept direct payment for services from long-term care insurance companies, most worker’s compensation carriers, private insurance and managed care companies, in addition to self pay.

Unfortunately, UNS is not always able to receive payment directly from PPO and HMO insurers, however as a courtesy to our clientele we will file the claim for you to assist you in receiving reimbursement. Our experienced insurance department will help to maximize your policy benefits while minimizing your out-of-pocket costs.
